The QSL engine simultaneously employs advanced in-cylinder combustion technology and a high-pressure polymer (HPCR) fuel system to increase power and reduce emissions. Meanwhile, the QSL provides better cold starting, reduces operating noise by 50%, and improves operator comfort.

Product Description

The QSL engine currently meets Tier 3 / Stage IIIA emission standards, and its cylinder solution does not require complex additional components. The advanced QSL engine platform will be further enhanced through final processing to meet Tier 4 / Stage IV emission standards in 2011 and beyond.
Performance: The Cummins QSL engine is designed to handle any machine’s high load. The combination of a full-featured electronic engine management system and a high-pressure common rail fuel system delivers high performance at rpm. The 24-valve freewheel design and centered fuel injector make the QSL one of the highest power-to-weight ratios in its class. In addition, the QSL can run on high-sulfur fuel, making it suitable for use anywhere in the world.
