With 1000-2200 hp and 6318 N·m torque, it features a high-pressure PT fuel system, twin Holset turbochargers, and charge air cooling for strong performance, fuel efficiency, and low emissions. Used in heavy trucks, excavators, road rollers, bulldozers, cranes, water pumps, and industrial power packs, the KTA50 is designed for tough applications in mining, marine, oil & gas, and power generation, offering durability and reliability with replaceable wet cylinder liners and advanced cooling and lubrication systems.

Cummins KTA50 – Original from Chongqing Cummins Joint Venture Plant (CCEC), since 1986, with 50% shareholder by Cummins USA, under Cummins technicals & product line. Cummins KTA38KTA50 is widely used on Heavy trucks, excavators, Road rollers, Bulldozers, cranes, water pumps,and industrial power packs.

Cummins engines have different configurations which have different power output, with code T in the engine model name means turbocharged engine, code TA in the engine model means turbocharge with water-air intercooler and code TAA in the engine model means turbocharge with air-air intercooler.
