Product Description

The Cummins KTA38 is a powerful and reliable diesel engine, widely used in mining, heavy trucks, construction, oil fields, railways, and industrial applications. It powers excavators, loaders, cranes, rollers, graders, bulldozers, pavers, drilling machines, concrete mixers, and water pumps.

Manufactured at the Chongqing Cummins Joint Venture Plant (CCEC) since 1986, with 50% Cummins USA ownership, the KTA38 follows Cummins’ technical standards. Along with the KTA50, it is extensively used in heavy machinery, road construction, power generation, and marine applications.

Cummins engines have different configurations which have different power outputs, with code T in the engine model name meaning turbocharged engine, code TA in the engine model means turbocharged with water-air intercooler and code TAA in the engine model means turbocharged with air-air intercooler.
